Translating words to symbols and signs

When translating messages/ instructions from words to symbols or signs, it is important to carefully consider the meaning of the words then select the appropriate symbol or sign graphics. To check the result, cover up the words and just read the symbol/ sign sentence to see if it makes sense.

In symbols translation, it is often helpful to sign the symbol sentence. The use of signs may highlight previously undetected errors.
