S4C's Makaton children's programme Dwylo'r Enfys has been nominated for a prestigious Rockie Award at the 2013 Banff World Media Festival.Dwylo'r Enfys (Rainbow Hands), which is produced by Ceidiog, has been nominated in the Children Programmes (2+) Non-fiction category.

The Department for Education has recently published the outputs from the Better Communication Research Programme (BCRP). The research programme ran for three years and was designed to investigate the progress of children with speech, language and communication needs over time.

Mr Tumble wins outstanding award for good communication
Children’s television presenter Justin Fletcher, aka Mr Tumble, from CBeebies Something Special programme, has received an Outstanding Achievement Award at the Shine a Light Awards 2012 for helping and supporting children in developing good communication skills.
