Training office co-ordinator

We are a Charity in the field of communication and learning disabilities in Blackwater, Camberley.

We require an experienced person with excellent organisational, administrative and secretarial skills to take on the busy full-time post of Training Office Co-ordinator.  This post involves working with and supporting the Training Officers and our network of Tutors and trainers across the UK.

For this position you must be able to:

  • Co-ordinate and organise external training, events and meetings
  • Plan and manage schedules up to two years ahead
  • Research and book venues
  • Negotiate best prices.
  • Prepare and issue papers.
  • Co-ordinate training events
  • Type and formatting materials.
  • Compose letters and emails as required.
  • Answer phone and email enquiries
  • Monitor and maintaining schedules.
  • Maintain paper-based and digital files

You must be a strong team player, with good communication skills and an excellent telephone manner.  You must be able to work under pressure and to deadlines.  Experience of using MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, Powerpoint) and have aptitude for learning in-house IT systems essential.  Experience of supervising a small team of staff desirable but not essential.
