HomeMVDP changes to The Makaton Charity

The Makaton Vocabulary Development Project (the MVDP) was governed by an unincorporated trust. Following careful consideration, the Trustees have decided that, in the future, the MVDP’s activities should be carried out through a Charitable Company Limited by Guarantee. As of 1 December 2007, the Makaton Vocabulary Development Project (MVDP) has transferred its undertakings, including contractual rights and obligations to a newly-formed organisation called The Makaton Charity. The Makaton Charity is registered with the Charity Commission (Registered Charity No 1119819) and also has the Registered Company number 06280108.
This transfer from one charity to another will not have an effect on the provision of information or services.
The new Makaton Charity will operate from the same address as usual, with the same contact details:
